Cancer rehabilitation aims to prevent and reduce the physical, psychological, social, and existential consequences of cancer and its treatment for patients and their relatives. The rehabilitation should provide support and conditions for individuals to live a good life based on their needs and wishes.

The cancer rehabilitation unit at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) consists of multidisciplinary teams in Lund and Malmö. The two locations collaborate closely with each other. The teams include occupational therapists, dietitians, coordinators, social workers, lymph therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, administrators, physiotherapists, and sexologists. We offer individual and group counseling and treatments. The unit is based on national care programs for cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema and strives for a working method that results in structured and standardized rehabilitation processes. We work daily and continuously on structured improvement efforts to achieve goals regarding accessibility, patient safety, equal care, and a good work environment. Since 2015, the unit has had an expanded mandate from the management to lead a Sus-wide cancer rehabilitation team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now have the opportunity to welcome an administrator for a longer temporary position at our cancer rehabilitation clinic in Malmö!

As an administrator, you will play a central role in the administrative work at the cancer rehabilitation unit. This includes typical tasks such as managing the unit's incoming phone calls, bookings, rescheduling, and registrations in our various systems. You will work in our ordering system and verify invoices. It is a given for us to work on continuous improvements, which is also part of the job. You will also have a coordinating role in the team in Malmö.

The placement is in Malmö, but since the unit also operates in Lund, work at both locations may be required as needed.

The advertisement concerns a temporary position until 2028-12-31.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome applicants who have completed and approved secondary education, with healthcare education seen as an advantage. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written forms. A prerequisite for the position is good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite. Previous experience with PASiS, Skånekatalogen, and Melior is considered advantageous.

We are looking for someone who has a sense of collaboration and a good approach to both colleagues and patients. We see that you are unpretentious, meticulous, structured, and clear in your communication, and can ask for help and set boundaries when needed. Additionally, you are good at prioritizing your tasks. You are stimulated by challenges and can easily see connections while being responsible and capable of carrying out more routine tasks. It is important that you can receive feedback constructively and know how to react to and handle periods of intense workload. A good ability to switch between detail and holistic perspectives is desirable, as well as knowledge of flow work concepts. Personal suitability will be given great importance.
